As you may have noticed, my activity level on DA has been dismally low the past few months. During spring quarter at school, I was focusing on classes and didn't have much time for any art. Summer came and was filled with the kind of boredom that sort of saps your soul of everything, so I've had little to no inspiration to do anything this summer. However, I have recently started up a couple of RPs to occupy myself and BINGO! I sketched out something last night/this morning that I'm rather proud of and have more ideas for other goodies. I seem to have my mojo back, at least for now. I think RPing is good for my creativity; I seem to draw more when I'm in a good, engaging RP. Go figure. Unfortunately, I can't get my parents scanner to work with my computer, so any new drawings will have to wait until I get set up at school.

Activity will probably be low once the quarter starts. I'm going to have quite the classload (Intro to Archaeology, Genetics -which I'm RE-taking-, Child Psychology, and Intermediate Swahili). Since my grades have been icky, I really need to focus on these classes and try to bring my yucky GPA back up to an acceptable level. Which means less time for fun artsies. Boo for that.

I had planned on getting out of the house to take some desert shots with my camera, because I suppose the desert has it's moments when it's nice to look at, but I never really got around to it. And, I'm glad to say, I will (hopefully) never have the opportunity again because we will be moving sometime in November. Dunno where yet, but we're super excited to be getting out of this place!

So yeah... that's what's going on with me. Might go try and draw something else, because I don't feel like finishing packing at the moment. I'm so productive like that. Heh.
